Our Challenge

At Coca-Cola HBC Lithuania, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a core value that drives everything we do. In 2023, we proudly collected 92% of the consumer packaging we put on the market, and our ultimate goal is to achieve 100% collection. However, we understand that the term "sustainability" has become overused, and messages about corporate achievements in this area often fail to connect with the everyday experiences of young consumers. Our challenge is to break through the noise and engage the 18-30-year-old audience in a meaningful way. How can we inspire them to take action, specifically by using a deposit system to responsibly collect bottles, instead of throwing them away in the general trash? We need your creativity and fresh perspective using effective tools that not only showcase Coca-Cola HBC Lithuania’s sustainability achievements but also motivate this generation to take real, tangible steps toward a more sustainable future. It’s time to make sustainability exciting and personal. How can we turn corporate actions into a movement that resonates with young people and inspires them to act? Your ideas could be the spark that encourages the next generation to make lasting, positive changes for the planet.

Information

At Coca-Cola HBC, sustainability is a key pillar of our long-term success, and minimizing our environmental impact is central to our business strategy. In 2023, we successfully collected 92% of the consumer packaging we put on the market in Lithuania, with the goal of reaching 100%. While we've made significant strides, we know that achieving this goal requires more than just internal actions; it requires engaging consumers, especially the 18-30 age group, to take responsibility and bring all bottles or cans to the deposit system. Unfortunately, sustainability messages have become overused, and connecting with young people has become more challenging.

This challenge asks you to help us create the idea that encourages young consumers to take meaningful action, specifically by using taromats to collect Coca-Cola HBC‘s bottles instead of throwing them away. Your ideas will help us cut through the noise and inspire a real change in consumer behavior. It's your chance to shape a more sustainable future and make a tangible impact.
