This challenge immerses students in the heart of the creative process, using design thinking to develop innovative products and services. Each year, the Créathon training program explores a different theme in collaboration with industry stakeholders. This year, the focus is on music—ensuring its widest possible reach. The challenge will explore music’s use, practice, listening habits, and accessibility to new audiences. The program’s partners play a key role in enriching the cultural life of Hauts-de-France (Northern France), including concert venues, performance spaces, public authorities, and music schools. Following online sessions on the fundamentals of design thinking, the challenge takes place on-site through a 5-day mobility program (which can be extended to 7 days). If you opt for the 7-day mobility, you will participate in the Fête de la Musique, a nationwide celebration of music, prior to the start of the challenge week, using it as a live case study. During the obligatory 5-day mobility week, you will then form creative teams of six and engage in five intensive days of hands-on problem-solving—interwoven with inspiring musical events.
