Description

How could we make a Challenge Based lecture with Virtual Reality? How does technology help you teach your lectures? How could we create Challenge Based Learning (CBL) activities with digital tools? In this course we will answer these questions through introducing CBL concepts and extended reality (specifically, Virtual and Augmented Reality). During the 3 days of the course, we will combine theory and practice on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) in CBL.

Information

Developing virtual scenarios with Virtual Reality is a key tool to deliver Challenge Based Learning to a set of students. With this technology you can create simulations of the real world where the challenge is targeting and students can participate even remotely to investigate interactions that could no be possible in the real world. This interaction can be useful to deepen your knowledge about the current situation and the pain points and to test your developed solutions before implementing in the real world. The system can collect data from the simulated interactions and character behaviour to help you take better decisions about the designed solution to the challenge.
