Our Challenge

Everyday commuting contributes significantly to carbon emissions, but what if workplaces could inspire real change? The Greener Commute Challenge invites you to develop ideas and solutions that motivate employees to choose more sustainable travel options, such as public transport, cycling, e-scooters, or car sharing. By joining, you will contribute to reducing CO₂ footprints, gain hands-on experience in creating behavioral change campaigns, and explore the future of sustainable mobility at work. Your ideas can make a real difference in how organizations move towards greener practices.

Information

We are Registrų centras, the national data and IT services provider in Lithuania. As a socially responsible organisation, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint while promoting sustainable lifestyles. Mobility is one of the key challenges, the daily commute of thousands of employees has a significant impact on the climate. This is why we have launched the Greener Commute Challenge - to rethink how we travel to work and to encourage the development of innovative, sustainable solutions.

With this challenge, we want to discover practical, creative and inspiring ways to encourage sustainable commuting among employees. We are inviting students to design tools, campaigns or solutions that can change habits, reduce emissions and improve well-being. By taking part, you will gain valuable skills in behaviour change, sustainability, and workplace innovation, all the while helping to shape a greener future for organisations and communities.
