Sociology of Education

This ECIU challenge based module introduces students to real-world socio-cultural issues that impact on school communities. These issues include Education Disadvantage, LGBTQ+ topics, Gender, Homelessness and other topics which have a significant societal impact. The various challenges that these issues entail will bring together students from different subject areas, working together towards viable solutions to provide robustness and long-lasting impact towards resilient school communities.
