The course ​​Portuguese as a Foreign Language (European Portuguese) – proficiency level A1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR) –, reflects the daily lives of the Portuguese and focuses, in particular, on the reality of the Aveiro region.  Each bloc of study, which is worth 3 ECTS each, is divided into 5 autonomous but interrelated didactic segments, traversing a narrative where the paths of 2 Portuguese families intersect. The modules are composed of authentic materials: starting from a video – which is the fragment of a sequential narrative –, the intended functional, linguistic (in its components: oral comprehension and expression, written comprehension and expression) and cultural skills are exposed.
