Description

This micromodule introduces you to the essentials of Challenge-based Learning (CBL) and gives you the opportunity to experience the full CBL cycle in practice. You will explore how CBL supports active learning and how it is applied within the ECIU environment. Through interactive activities, quizzes, and guided exercises, you will move step by step through the three key stages of the CBL process: Engage, Investigate, and Act. During the micromodule, you will work on a real-world challenge related to pressing social issues such as sustainable development, digital wellbeing, or the circular economy. You will formulate guiding questions, develop a practical solution, and create a prototype that you will present at the end of the course. The micromodule concludes with reflection on your learning progress and future applications of CBL. It is designed to be practical, engaging, and directly relevant to your academic and professional development.
