This Micro-module aims to contribute to reinforce the forest agents’ skills, by offering technical-scientific perspectives that reinforce the acknowledgement of the value of the biodiversity of insects and other invertebrates to a sustainable forest management, as well as skills to:

a) identify relevant forest biodiversity indicators

b) identify potential threats to insect and other invertebrate biodiversity

c) evaluate the potential and applicability of management options that support the conservation of insect and other invertebrate biodiversity, associated with forest production.
