This course defines challenges and analyzes the major actors and institutions involved, along with the crucial role of students (their creativity and ability to turn good ideas into sound projects) in finding meaningful innovative solutions to real problems. Specifically, social challenges will be defined in class and experienced by students using the Engage-Investigate-Act approach applied in the ECIU (European Consortium of Innovative Universities) network.
