Description

Startups are a key driving force in addressing societal and environmental challenges. However, building and scaling a successful startup requires more than innovative ideas — it demands a deep understanding of market needs, technological feasibility, and stakeholder alignment. This module introduces methods for effective idea development and critical reflection, approaches to market analysis, market potential assessment, and competitor analysis. We will discuss several business models and growth strategies, and their implications for monetization and scalability. The module also covers fundamentals of sales and marketing, talent acquisition, employee incentivization and equity participation, securing venture capital, fostering company culture, operations and management, business plan development, legal foundations, and liability issues.
