Children´s cultural heritage at museums

Thinking critically about preservation and display of children's past and future
Finished

Description

How are children represented at museums? Is culture for and by children included as part of displays and collections? Are children an intended visitor group? In this micro-module you will visit a nearby museum to explore how children´s experiences and life stories are represented in cultural heritage institutions. You will then share and discuss your observations with your classmates and teachers, and suggest improvements in the museums´ practices. Join us to learn more about how we can make social institutions more democratic and inclusive!
