Conceptualise and map the current trends and possible future developments of translation

The student understands different theoretical concepts derived from future oriented research and recognises the specific position of translation among them, in order to map the current trends and possible future developments of translation.

Critically reflect on the current state of translation and produce imaginations of the future of tra

The student is able to deploy simple methods inspired from speculative research in order to produce imaginations of the future of translation, translators and translation studies, and use them as a mean of critical reflection on the present

The student is able to engage different case studies, both real and fictional, in order to reconstruct the mechanics, dynamics, and strategies behind future translations.
