Bring yourself back to your childhood. Do you remember how happy you felt when you were playing? And how many things you learned from that? This module highlights the centrality of play in childhood and the ways it encourages creativity, learning development and social community among children. The module will start with online activities where the theoretical foundations of play as a pedagogical resource will be laid down. During the face-to-face week, you will meet peers and participate in different play situations, both indoors and outdoors. Site visits and excursions are also planned.
